ART GALLERIES OF
ST. AUGUSTINE

St. Augustine has always attracted artists. French Artist Jacques Le Moyne sketched our area in the 1500's. Louis Tiffany, Martin Johnson Heade and Thomas Moran graced the 1800's, a period when Henry Flagler brought aspiring artists to St. Augustine and provided them housing and studios. The 1900s saw the birth of the Art Association, Historical Society, and Lightner Museum. Today, a broad spectrum of artists call this charminig old city home. St. Augustine is included in Jon Villani's 100 Best Small Art Towns in America

Mission:
Our mission is to promote awareness of the visual arts in St. Augustine through gallery activities, programs and participation in city-wide events. We are dedicated to and support developing St. Augustine as a vital place for the arts and culture.
