Featured Artist:
Lyn Asselta Landscape Artist

Lyn creates landscapes of the places she loves -- from the marshes and beaches of the St. Augustine, Florida area to the Smoky Mountains and the rocky coast of Maine. "Pastel, as a medium, is immediate. I can pick up a color and draw exactly what is in my mind at the moment. The combination of the softness of pastel and their ultimate permanence is very appealing to me. I find pastel to be absolutely perfect for conveying the timeless quality of landscapes that are mystifyingly beautiful."
